Welcome to El Burrito Loco, a hidden gem nestled at 485 Ridge Rd, Lafayette, LA. This burrito haven is capturing the attention of both locals and travelers alike, and for good reason. As you step into this establishment, you can feel the vibrant energy and the promise of delicious, made-from-scratch Mexican fare.
Under new management, El Burrito Loco has quickly earned a reputation for its remarkable flavors and generous portions. The devoted team of two ladies in the kitchen work tirelessly, crafting each dish with care. Customers rave about the chorizo breakfast burrito, which Val describes as " Bombdigity!". You can almost taste the love and passion infused in every bite.
Mark Richmond highlights the essence of El Burrito Loco, mentioning that each order is made fresh on the spot. It's evident that this isn't just about quick service; it's about creating an authentic dining experience. Ryan Cormier notes that the generously sized burritos, like the incredible asada burrito, are so substantial that one could easily make two meals out of one. Flavors are bold, quick, and affordably priced, making it impossible to resist returning for more.
Another enthusiastic review comes from Romna Guidry, who stumbled upon this treasure while visiting family in Louisiana. She concludes that El Burrito Loco outshines even the best local food trucks in Texas. This speaks volumes about its culinary craftsmanship and the unforgettable experiences it creates for every visitor.
Whether you stop in for a quick bite to take home, or decide to savor your meal on-site, El Burrito Loco guarantees satisfaction. Their tacos, burritos, and famous tortas stand out, ensuring every meal is an adventure of flavor. With a friendly atmosphere and top-notch service, it’s no wonder that patrons often feel compelled to visit weekly.
If you find yourself in Lafayette, make it a point to visit El Burrito Loco. You won't just be enjoying a meal; you'll be partaking in a vibrant tapestry of taste that embodies the spirit of delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine.

Made from scratch on the spot. Good food. Takes a couple extra minutes, but it is very good.

Visiting family in Louisiana, headed home to Texas. Googled burritos and found this place. Amazing.. so far best food we’ve had. Better than our local food trucks by far/ will be stopping by on our future trips!

A very friendly mexican to-go place inside of a convienance store.. (think of it as a taco truck with A/C). I had 3 tacos, and the asada burrito. Lord help me, the burrito was huge! That burrito is 2 meals, I don't care who you are. Food was flavorful, quick, and affordable. I need to come to this place at least once a week. Pic of steak burrito included.

Under new management, and doing a very great job! The two ladies in the kitchen are slinging tacos and other things out of this gas station like no other! Food is always flavorful and service is always quick! Things I normally get are the tacos, burritos, and their amazing tortas! You need to come and try this place!! It's inside of a gas station. A nice lady inside will make you some good food. There is technically a table inside but I recommend this is a pickup and go place.

Really tasty and good quality Latin food. It's on the pricier side but you get what you pay for - I ordered a barbacoa taco and there was hardly any fat and it was all lean meat, which is not usually the case at the cheapo taco stands. The ladies working the counter/cooking are really sweet. Idk how I'd have fared if I didn't know Spanish. The baleadas are amazing - thick flour tortillas and made by hand. Lots of filling. If you're looking for traditional-style Honduran food this is a great spot.
